Important: I am not in-network with insurance companies, but I work with Thrizer to make it easy for my clients to use their out-of-network (OON) benefits and receive reduced fees for treatment!

I can verify your benefits to determine if you’re eligible for reimbursement or reduced upfront cost with your OON benefits. If you would like me to check your benefits, please email a photo of your insurance card along with your Date of Birth to: alison@authenticallyoutherapy.com

Fees

45 min / session: $225

I hold a limited amount of sliding scale spots for those who need reduced fees or do not have out of network benefits. Feel free to inquire if you would benefit!

Sliding scale spots are reserved for those who are unable to afford services, do not have insurance or do not receive out-of-network coverage from their insurance. If you’re unsure if you have OON coverage, we can verify for you. Please submit your card below.

  • I am not an in-network provider, but if your plan had out-of-network (OON) benefits, then you are likely eligible to receive reimbursement for therapy services. Typically, those who have a PPO plan are able to receive coverage for out of network providers.

    As described above, I use Thrizer to make it as easy as possible for my clients to use these benefits! If you would like me to verify your OON benefits, you can submit your insurance card in the form below.

  • Thrizer helps clients use their out of network benefits. They will handle submitting your claims so that you don’t have to! If you’re unsure if you have OON benefits, I can verify this for you. Once your benefits are verified, Thrizer offers two ways to support you.

    For example: if your insurance verification comes back and says that you receive 50% out of network coverage after meeting your deductible, Thrizer will offer you two options:

    1. They will submit the claim for you and then you wait a few weeks to receive the 50% reimbursement directly to your bank account (they charge a 1% fee for this service)

    2. Or if you want to skip the wait of reimbursement, Thrizer will offer to front the cost and you will only pay your 50% portion (they charge a 5% fee for this service)

  • 45 min session / $225

    30 min session / $125 (used only for brief check ins only - not a full session)

    These session fees do not reflect what clients will pay if they are using Thrizer’s service. If you would like to see if you are eligible for reduced upfront cost with Thrizer, I can verify your OON beneits.

    I offer a limited amount of sliding scale spots for those with financial need or who do not have of out of network benefits.

  • At this time, our practice is completely virtual. Upon making an appointment, you will receive a video link for our sessions.

  • Making sure you find a therapist who is a good fit is crucial. That is why we will start with a free 15 min consultation together. During this call, I will explore what you are looking for to make sure it aligns with my specialties. You will be able to ask me any questions during this time as well. If we decide it is a good fit, then we will schedule our initial appointment!

    If for any reason it is not a good fit, then I am happy to offer you referrals.
